Just a reminder, FHA's changes to their Mortgage Insurance Premiums goes into effect next week. Be sure that you finish up any FHA contracts you have in the works and get them in this week before the increase in MIP on April 18 - will save your customers on their monthly payment. An example of the change is below. If you have any questions or if I can be of any help, just let me know.
MIP Example:
$150,000 FHA Loan Amount
Current MIP calculation for monthly payment = $150,000 x .90% divided by 12 = $112.50/month for MI
New MIP calculation for monthly payment = $150,000 x 1.15% divided by 12 = $143.75/month for MI
